My favourite Benefit products

Best Benefit Products | Air Patrol | POREfessional | Puff Off

It's probably no surprise that Benefit are one of my favourite cosmetics brands. I am forever obsessed with everything the bring out and am currently in mourning due to the fact I am currently running on samples as I've used up pretty much ALL of my full sized benefit products. Can anyone see where my next pay cheque is going? Yup, straight to the Benefit counter.

It occurred to me that I don't often blog about my Benefit products, because I'm always far too excited and start using them straight away and then it's too late to take perfect blog photographs. Then I realised that, let's be honest, Benefit is so heavily blogged about, you probably don't want to read a millionth review on Roller Lash Mascara or Hoola bronzer.

So I decided I'd talk about my recent three favourite Benefit products! (Disclaimer: my favourites change all the time, so don't be surprised if next month I'm raving about something else from the Benefit range. I just love it all, god dammit!)

Also, sorry for the sample pictures, it's pretty much all I have left!

Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush Palette in Golden Sugar Review

makeup revolution ultra blush palette in golden sugar

The Makeup Revolution Ultra Blush Palette in Golden Sugar is the third addition to their blush palette range, joining Hot Spice and Sugar and Spice in the line up. I'm a huge fan of Makeup Revolution products, I don't think I've ever been disappointed and have quite a few of their eyeshadow palettes amongst a few other bits and bobs, so I was excited to try this out!

The palette is an absolute bargain at £6 and has a mix of blushers, bronzers and one highlighter packed inside the recognisable, sleek black Makeup Revolution packaging.

Ten under £10 - Brow Kits

Ten Under £10 | Budget Brow Kits

Oh January. The month where my acrylics are clinging on for dear life and my brows are unruly and rebellious because I can't afford to visit the salon just yet! So, thank God for budget beauty products and January sales. There's not much I can do for my acrylics, they will need to come off or I'll have to beg the hubby to pay for my appointment, but I can pick up a cheap brow kit for some emergency eyebrow maintenance.

There are plenty of cheap eyebrow kits available that are still really great and I've tried loads of them out. Here are my ten favourite brow kits for under £10!

First of all, if you fancy joining in, visit Inside Laura's Head to find out more about #BlogBetter.

For January I have chosen the following things to work on for the #BlogBetter challenge:

New Year's Resolutions and Blogging Goals for 2016

DollfaceBlogs New Year's Resolutions and Blogging Goals 2016

Well hello! You may (or may not...) have noticed that I've not been the most active blogger for quite a while and while I could sit here and delve into the reasons for that, it probably wouldn't make for the nicest read, especially on New Year's Day!

2015 was a rollercoaster year for me, with some of the highest highs and lowest lows I've ever experienced. In 2015, I married my best friend, met some incredible new people and learned a lot about true friendship, and it's those positive moments and memories I want to bring into 2016.

I started this blog in 2013 and have had a very on/off relationship with the blogging world, going from feeling so involved, to very ostracised at times. I put a lot of pressure on myself to 'keep up with the Joneses' and come down really hard on myself when it doesn't quite go the way I want it to. So, 2016 is going to see me taking my blog back to it's roots and I'll be blogging for myself, and not to keep up with what everyone else is doing.

I've decided to make 5 resolutions this year. They are a mix of personal resolutions and blogging goals for 2016, some can be applied to both, and I wanted to post about them as a reminder and to give me something to look back on at the end of the year!
