OOTD // Boohoo Laura Fashion Blogger Shift Dress

Fashion blogger slogan dress

Fashion blogger slogan dress

I'm massively into any kind of outfit that embodies some kind of slogan at the moment. From shift dresses, to tshirts, jumpers and even leggings; I'm loving anything that's got some nice, big, bold words splashed all over it. I've got a couple of outfit posts planned and I'm having to spread them out because they ALL include some kind of feature piece with a nice big slogan. Talk about a diverse style... not!

This is one of my favourite outfits at the moment for its simplicity.

L'Oreal Paris Mega Volume Miss Manga Punky Mascara Review

L'Oreal Paris Mega Volume Miss Manga Punky Mascara Review

L'Oreal Paris Mega Volume Miss Manga Punky Mascara Review

I recently picked up the L'Oreal Paris Mega Volume Miss Manga Punky Mascara in my latest cosmetics haul for no other reason than I'm a sucker for a high volume mascara.

I hadn't heard a massive amount about the mascara before I bought it, but since then I've seen the advert all across the television!

For normal, every day use, you do have to be quite careful. The brush isn't actually designed to get rid of any clumps or anything, it's design is quite different to enable you to create punky looking lashes, like the ones from the advert.

How to run a blog giveaway

How to run a blog giveaway

Bloggers run giveaways for a number of reasons; from wanting to gain more exposure and subscribers, to celebrating blogging milestones, or even just to share a product you have loved with a lucky reader.

You can receive a lot of interest and engagement from running a giveaway, but they are not as simple as you might think. They require a fair bit of planning, promotion and monitoring to make sure it is fair and successful.

Mini drugstore haul

High street make up products

It's been a while since I actually purchased anything new for my makeup collection. Recently, with Christmas and all the wedding things going on, I've only had money to replenish things that run out, so this weekend I decided to treat myself and picked up a couple of new additions and, in true blogger fashion, I thought I'd share my purchases with you!

1. Batiste XXL volume dry shampoo

I was previously using a Tresemme dry shampoo, but I found myself falling out with it recently as I just wasn't getting the results I wanted. So, I decided it was time to switch and I decided to opt for Batiste since I had heard such great things about the brand. There were many options to pick from, but I went for the XXL volume because my hair always tends to be flat so anything that offers a little extra boost attracts me straight away!

7 ways to kick start your morning

7 ways to kick start your morning | Making waking up easier

Okay, so we're all back to school and work after all that wonderful time off over the festive period, and if you're anything like me, you are probably struggling to get back into your routine.

I'm not a morning person and tend to always feel really sluggish right through until lunch time on some days, which is not helpful, as I start work at 9am!

One of my New Year's resolutions for 2015 is to make more out of my mornings. By this, I mean making sure I'm up, energised and refreshed ready for the day before I leave the house, instead of halfheartedly slapping some foundation on, grabbing a piece of toast and heading to work for a mini-nap at my desk.

There are so many faddy things that aim to wake you up, and I hate coffee, so I'm avoiding all of those. Instead, I'm trying out these 7 tips to wake me up in the morning!

Chanel Coco Mademoiselle Perfume Review

Coco Mademoiselle perfume by Chanel

I've been after the Coco Mademoiselle fragrance by Chanel for so long as I'm desperate to have it as my wedding perfume, and finally, for Christmas, my wonderful Dad bought it for me! What a star!

I know that lots of you will be familiar with the fragrance, as it's not a new or particularly quiet brand, but some of you may not know how truly wonderful it really is.

Even the packaging is glamorous and luxurious. The box has a pearlescent effect in some lights and gold accents on the top and bottom.

Marie Meilie Lingerie Review*

Marie Meilie Lingerie from House of Fraser

Marie Meilie Lingerie from House of Fraser

I recently got some gorgeous underwear from House of Fraser that I had to share with you, because it's so pretty!

I picked out the Marie Meili Mason Bandeau Bra and the matching briefs. The bra is currently only £10.00 in the HoF sale and the briefs are just £4.50!

I adore the floral pattern with the cute lace trim on both pieces and the little turquoise bow is just so sweet. The material on this lingerie so soft, making them super comfortable to wear!
