X Factor Style - Live Shows // Week 3

X Factor Style and Fashion - Live Shows Week 3

Monday is back and that means the weekend is over. Boooo! However, it does mean I get to post my style round up for this weekend's X Factor, which just happens to be the third live show!

*Spoiler alert - I am about to talk about who went/what I thought before I move onto the fashion, so if you haven't caught up yet, you might want to skip past this bit!*

I must say, after the Saturday show, I was a bit disappointed. I don't think anyone was stand out. Paul was probably my favourite performance and if they don't stop giving Andrea the big diva power ballads and show us what else he can do, I'm going to get bored.

Having said that, I do think Jake Quickenden deserved to be in the bottom two, perhaps along with Stevi Richie(I love watching him, but his time is slowly coming to an end). However, after the sing off performance, I think Only the Young deserved to go. I'm afraid their 'save me' performance just wasn't as good as Jake's, but that's the way it goes. Hopefully they will come back next week and blow us away so I don't resent them too much!

Anyway, onto the reason we are all here; the fashion! I think everyone's upping their game at the moment and looking fab. They are all really finding their styles and I'm beginning to struggle to find an outfit I don't like!

Cheryl Fernandez-Versini

First up is the gorgeous Cheryl Fernandez-Versini. Will she ever not  make my weekly X Factor fashion favourite list? I'm doubt it! Her glam style just never seems to fail me.

Her stunning dress from Saturday night's live show was amazing and her figure looked (annoyingly) flawless.

Cheryl has definitely hit the nail on the head on movie week, bringing her spark of Hollywood glamour to the stage.

This beaut of a dress is by designer Zuhair Murad, from the AW '14 'ready to wear' range and I wouldn't even like to hazard a guess at the price!

Cheryl's blingy necklace is also stunning. I'm not sure about the original, but I've found a lookalike one in TopShop for £25!

Lauren Platt

She's here again!

Lauren wowed me with her performance of 'Let it go' on Saturday night, what did you think of it?

What also wowed me, was her funky House of Holland dress! I loved the quirky crocodile effect and the colours are just stunning.

Lauren's petite figure pulls it off perfectly and I'm loving the cute and girly style, with a hint of chic, she is developing each week!

If you have a few spare pennies, the Mix Crocodile Fleur dress is  currently on sale at House of Holland for £112 (was £360).

Mel B

After speaking to a few people, there appears to be mixed opinions on Mel B's outfit from Saturday night's live show.

Personally, I really liked the red jumpsuit, and if you liked it too, you can click here to buy it from Zara, but that's not what I'm here to talk about.

Mel literally knocked it out of the park on Sunday night's results show with her stunning, black, cut out Jason Wu cut out jersey dress dress. She has got a seriously fab figure to be flaunting!

The original will set you back over £350, BUT, if you fancy replicating Mel B's style, I've found two alternatives! AQ/AQ have a fab like for like dress for only £75 and Motel have a very similar dress for £45!

Worst dressed

Xtra Factor Sarah Jane Crawford | X Factor 2014 Live Shows Week 3
Sarah Jane Crawford

Okay, so technically this is Xtra Factor, but for my worst dressed this week, I'm going for Sarah Jane Crawford, and that's only because I honestly couldn't pick a worst dressed from the live shows. I think I'm going to find this post more and more difficult each week.

I wasn't really feeling Sarah's dress from the Xtra Factor.

I don't know if it was the detached collar or the fluffy shoulders.

I don't think it was terrible, but certainly not something I'd pick for myself. What do you think?

What do you reckon to my best and worst dressed from X Factor live shows week 3? Or do you think someone else is doing particularly well in the X Factor fashion stakes?

Also, are you enjoying this series of the X Factor? I'd love to know who your faves are!
