ZoellaBeauty is quite possibly the most talked about beauty launch of the year, especially amongst bloggers, since the lovely lady behind ZoellaBeauty, Zoe Sugg, came right from the beauty blogging community herself.
Amongst her amazing achievements, Zoella has reached 6million subscribers on YouTube, been involved in some fabulous projects including working with Simple skincare, and finally, released her ZoellaBeauty range.
I'm sure you've heard plenty about the range so far, as there was an abundance of introductory and first impressions posts flying around as soon as the first images of the products were announced, but incase you haven't already heard, here's what you can get your hands on:
- 2 makeup bags, one with a cute guinea pig design and one with the trademark Zoella eyes
- Blissful Mistful body mist
- Fizz Bar bath fizzer
- Creamy Madly Dreamy body lotion
- Soak Opera shower cream
- Let's Glow fragranced candle
Everything is really focused on bath and body, relaxation/relieving stress and most importantly, the most expensive items are the makeup cases and body mist, costing a bargainous £8! You can buy ZoellaBeauty from Superdrug and Feel Unique.
I originally wanted to buy all of it, but decided that I was only going to opt for a couple of things, so I purchase the Fizz Bar bath fizzer and the Blissful Mistful body mist.
For a start, the packaging is so cute and you can tell it's Zoella from a mile away. I love the dainty, delicate little designs and I like how everything is consistent and all looks like they are part of the same set.
I'll start with the Fizz Bar bath fizzer. Inside the pretty packaging is a set of 8 fizzy cubes, branded with the Z on each one. I opted for two in my bath to see how it went. I just popped them in while I was running the bath and immediately the little cube started fizzing away and all of a sudden my bathroom filled with the most amazing scent. It's not an overpowering scent, but rather a nice, floral/vanilla/super relaxing smell.
The aroma did fade kind of half way through my bath, but I wonder if I had used a couple more cubes, whether it would have stuck around the whole time.
Either way, I felt so relaxed and smelt delicious when I stepped out of the tub. Well worth the £5 I paid for it, it was a delightful bath!
Next, onto the Blissful Mistful body mist. The first thing I will point out is that the scent is pretty similar to the Fizz Bar bath fizzers, which isn't a bad thing. I quite like that the scent is still super consistent. It means that I could use all of Zoe's products at once and not risk smelling of a million different things that perhaps don't go well together.
After a couple of spritzes in the morning, I was immediately doused in the familiar and super sweet scent, which just smelt glorious. I found as well, that the fragrance stuck around for longer than my usual perfumes, as I found myself still being able to pick up the smell right throughout the day. The 45 ml bottle looks like it will last me a fair while as well, so I'm pleased as punch that it only cost me £8!
The scent is definitely stress relieving, I almost feel instantly relaxed as soon as I smell it now, which means I will have to stay stocked up with ZoellaBeauty products for the rest of my life!
