Models Own Nail Varnish in Speckled Egg Dove Review

A picture of the Models Own Speckled Egg Nail Varnish in Dove

It's been a while since I did anything nail related on my blog, which can be put down to the fact I broke all of my nails and they didn't look pretty enough for blog pictures!

They are a looking a little better now, so you can be ready for an onslaught of nail reviews and nail art posts that have been backing up while I waited for my nails to look half decent again!

I thought I'd start off with introducing you to one of my absolute favourite nail varnishes at the moment. This is from the Models Own Speckled Egg range. The shade is called Dove and it's a really cute and casual pastel pink and the black glitter gives it such an edge.

The picture above has two coats of colour on top of a strengthening base coat and my Jica Nail Conditioner.

Application is really simple. The nail varnish itself didn't drag or clump up, but make sure you shake the bottle well before you start so you can get an even coverage of the black glitter for that speckled effect.

Drying time can obviously be different for everyone, but I found this dried nicely after around 10 minutes.

There are a few other colours in this range. They are all pastel colours;
Goose (Yellow), Magpie (Mint Green), Duck (Blue), Swan (Lilac). They are a fabulous range, and I'm now dying to get my hands on all of them.

You can grab the Models Own Speckled Egg nail varnish in Dove, or any of the other colours listed above, from the Models Own website for £4.99 each!

What do you think of the Models Own Speckled Egg range? Have you got a favourite nail varnish at the moment? Tell me all about it in the comments!

    1. Snap, I love this combination and the others in the range look fab too. I'm all for a bit of texture or something different from a nail polish. It's like nail art without the effort!

      Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment lovely, I really appreciate it!
