Jica Lash Extensions review*

Jica Lash Extensions

If only getting eyelash extensions was cheap, I would get them done all the time, but on my budget at the moment, my trips to the salon have definitely been sacrificed! So, in order to make up for this, I've been on the hunt for products that can help me get my salon treatments at home.

First stop was definitely finding an alternative eyelash extensions treatment. I actually haven't been getting these done for a while but I really miss not having to deal with the faff of coats and coats of mascara, or battling with stick on lashes all the time.

Jica Lash Extensions

Jica Lash Extensions is a little bottle of natural fibres that are designed to latch onto your own lashes and give you longer and fuller looking lashes. The bottle is quite small, and inside is a little mascara wand that picks up the fibres and lets you brush them on just as you would with your mascara.

The trick is to apply a coat of mascara first, then immediately apply the Jica Lash extensions before the mascara dries, so the fibres have something to catch onto.

One little tip I would give is to tilt your head forwards when applying, looking down onto a mirror on the floor, to avoid the fibres spilling down your face, although if you're not confident to do it that way, then the fibres are easy enough to brush away.

So, I thought the best way to show you the result was in picture form.

Here are my lashes with no product at all, looking short and sad:

Here are my lashes with mascara. In this picture I have used the Seventeen Falsifeye blackest black mascara:

You can definitely see a massive difference! My lashes certainly look longer and fuller, and it lasts throughout the day. The more you fiddle with your eyelashes, the more likely it is that you will detach the fibres - so leave them be and your lashes will look like this all day!

The fibres are easy to remove with normal eye make up remover, I've had no problems at all. At the moment, I've been using it every other day and it's been making a real difference.

The great thing about this little bottle is that it will last around 4 months, even if you use it every day! If you don't, then you can keep it for as long as you want, because the product has no expiry date (but remember that washing the brush every now and then won't do any harm - just make sure it is completely dry before putting it back in the bottle, otherwise you will cause the fibres to clump up.)

For only £13.95 from Jica's website, the Jica Lash Extensions is definitely helping me save money on my regular salon trips, but still have the beautifully long and full lashes when I want them!

Why don't you give it a try? I'd love to hear what you think about it!
