Lauren's Way Solution 60 Mousse Tan Review*

Lauren's Way Solution 60 tan rapid mousse

If you read my blog a lot, you know I regularly talk about tanning tips and tanning products, so it's safe to say i love a bit of fake tan. This is mainly because my poor, pasty skin, doesn't tan well naturally, so faking it is the only way!

I have tried so many different types of tanning products, and a tanning mousse is definitely my favourite because of the minimal mess and lower risk of streaks. I'm also a fan of these new tans that claim to have worked their magic in an hour because it means I can still find time to tan when I'm super busy and I don't have to wait 4 hours for it to take effect!

So with that in mind, when the gorgeous people from Lauren's Way asked if I wanted to try out their Solution 60 Tanning Mousse, I jumped at the chance!

In case you don't already know, Lauren's Way is the beauty brand fronted by original TOWIE girl (and Mark Wright's ex) Lauren Goodger. the brand specialises in tan, lashes and hair extensions and is available for both professional and personal use. That means that the product you are buying to use at home, is just as good quality as the one they would use in the salon!

Keep reading to find out what I thought of the solution 60 tan AND to grab an exclusive 20% discount on Lauren's Way tan, lashes and hair products!
The solution 60 tanning mousse claims that you can get a great, streak-free tan in 1-3 hours. Obviously the time depends on how dark you want your tan, but a quick, natural tan can be achieved in 1 hour.

The mousse is super easy to apply evenly, so I ended up with no streaks. Not a single one! it's also mess-free. With liquid and spray tans, I tend to find I've applied more to the bathroom than I have to myself, but that's not the case with this one.

When i first applied it, I thought it looked a bit dark and I had the immediate fear of ending up orange, but I was pleasantly surprised! For the purpose of this review, I decided to leave the tan on for 2 hours, so you can see the middle level and if you want a little lighter, go for the 1 hour, or if you fancy being darker, go for the 3 hours!

*Note - these pictures are not edited at all, so you can see the real colours!

I'm sure you will join me in saying 'WOW!'

It's a lovely colour, really even application and it's not orange! All of that achieved in 2 hours. That is what I call an absolute god send! Usually, I would go for a finishing colour that is a tiny bit lighter than this, but I know that all I need to do next time is wash it off a little earlier!

When it comes to removing, as long as you are exfolitating and moisturising regularly, it does fade evenly and i wasn't left with too many stubborn or patchy bits as the tan began to come off, which left me with a decent base to do a top up tan, if I need to. A lot of that is in the preparation and after care process, so make sure you are exfoliating and moisturising regularly and you will have no tanning problems!

You can grab yourself a bottle of Lauren's Way solution 60 tan for £19.95 here, and as an extra little treat, I have got a 20% discount code exclusively for you to use on your order! Just enter LWBLOG11 at the checkout! (This can be used on hair, tan or lashes - so take your pick!)

  1. I'm super super pale and burn in the sun straight away so if I want a tan I have to use fake tan. I like the fact that fake tan looks really natural :-)

  2. I'm rubbish at fake tanning, it always looks orange as I am so pale. This sounds like something that might actually work for me. Thank you x
