We recently discovered Guide London Clothing, which is no good for me as it is menswear, but their shirts and other clothes look fantastic and I wanted to share with you guys in case your other half/brother/best boy mate wanted to revamp their wardrobe, or if you wanted to treat them!
If you fancy a bit of a history lesson, Guide London Clothing was set up by Isaac Benson. Originally, Benson was trading under the name of BRUTE which began 1973. In 1988, BRUTE moved over to being more of the wholesaler, and Guide London Clothing took over as the retailer. Now, Guide London Clothing has placed itself as the 'total-look' retailer, stocking different kinds of shirts from casual to smart and tshirts to wasitcoats and jackets. They also sell trousers and accessories such as underwear, belts and wallets.
Their entire website has just undergone a huge revamp and is now super easy to use and everything looks so stylish.
Mike, my fiance, likes a bit of smart and a bit of casual to rub off in his every day look. Even Guide's more casual tops could be dressed smartly.
Mike chose the Navy, Grey and White tshirt with chambray pocket as his first purchase from Guide at £40.
I may be biased, but I think he looks lovely!
In these photographs, he teamed his Guide t-shirt with some River Island slim-fit jeans and Nike Hi-top, for a more casual look.
The quality of the material is lovely and the fit is really nice.
Mike's downfall with clothes shopping is definitely tops. He can never find one that fits nicely, as he has quite broad shoulders, but then a smaller waist. Tops that fit his shoulders properly end up too baggy, and tops that fit his body end up cramping his shoulders. Oh the perils of being a man...
Anyway, the Guide tshirt didn't seem to cause him any problems as we were able to check the measurements of the shirt on the website and they stayed true to their description!
Mike would definitely recommend Guide London Clothing, and is already scouring their website filling his basket for his next order!
What do you guys think? If you're a guy, would you buy from Guide? Or would you ladies make a purchase as a present for someone?
