There are plenty of people just like you, aggrieved from acne. Mostly, scars caused by acne disappear on their own, but sometimes one may have to take help of acne treatments for getting rid of these scars.

Here are top 10 ways to treat acne:

1. Let Pimples Subside Naturally with Time

Dermatologists always advise people not to touch or rub their pimples. Constant touching can lead to increased production of sebum and rupturing of the underlying membranes, which can lead to scars.
Rubbing can also aggravate the multiplication of pimples. In many cases it aids in spreading the infection to other parts of the face as well. The best way to let pimples heal is to leave them alone and let the body’s natural immunity fight the infection.

2. Keep Your Face Clean

You should wash your face with mild soap at least twice a day. People with oily skin can increase this frequency. It’s even better if you wash your face using sulfur or benozyl peroxide based soaps. And, while washing the face is good for the skin, excessive washing should be avoided. It may lead to the production of more sebum from the sebaceous glands and this can cause more acne.

Avoid the use of rough sponges or brushes to clean your face as they may cause pimples to burst leading to scar formation.

3. Ice Packs

Acne is generally accompanied with pain and inflammation. Therefore, you should apply ice packs on the affected area at least twice a day for half an hour, but not more than 5 minutes at a stretch. It helps in trimming down pain and swelling. Icing also reduces the redness caused by the pimples.

4. Aspirin Helps

In case you are suffering from acne and aspirin doesn’t pose a problem to your immune system, an intake of 325 mg two times a day can effectively control the outbreak of acne on your face. Be cautious and do talk to your doctor before starting the use of aspirin for acne treatment.

5. Drink Chasterberry Tea

Chasterberry tea is considered to be one of the most potent cures for treating acne. In case, acne comes up at particular time in every month, you should seriously consider drinking Chasterberry tea at least once, daily.

Medical experts believe that the herb helps in production of certain kinds of chemicals in the body, which control regular occurrence of acne. But, you should continue with the consumption of tea for at least 3 months before some positive effects begin to show.

6. Honey as Natural Healer

Honey is the most potent natural antibacterial that is used for facials worldwide. You can apply honey over you pimples and cover them with a cloth before sleeping. Also, you can use honey in form of a facial mask.

  3. This is really Wonderful blog. In addition to this i want to add my knowledge about this Acne Scar Las Vegas.

    1. Use baking soda. Mix equal parts baking soda and water to form a paste. Apply the paste onto acne individually, not over the entire face. Dip a Q-Tip into the baking soda mixture and apply that way.

    2. Slice a raw potato and apply to skin. Slice a raw potato in half and apply onto acne. Raw potato can heal as well as act an anti-inflammatory. Again, wash the residue off your skin gently with water after using.

    3. Use toothpaste for pimples. If you have a single, mighty pimple you want destroyed overnight, consider using toothpaste to cover the pimple with. Toothpaste contains silica, which is the substance you find in beef jerky bags, used to keep any moisture out of substances. Silica will dry out and diminish the size of the pimple overnight if left on.
Try using a natural toothpaste — with silica but without sodium lauryl sulfate. Sodium lauryl sulfate is a harsh chemical that's also an irritant to some people. It's best to avoid it, and any of the big, name-brand toothpastes, for that reason.
