Alphabet Challenge - M - Mask
Okay, so I know it would probably make more sense for this to be the S post in my alphabet challenge, but I wanted to tell you about it now!
This was a bit of an impuls buy for me, and you will have seen it mentioned in my Haul post from a couple of days ago. I noticed the Sugar & Spice Self-Heating facemask while I was stood in the queue at Superdrug, and for 99p, I couldn't resist giving it a try.
The face mask itself looks a little like foundation and is really smooth. As well as looking and feeling nice, it also smells delicious. I can really smell the Caramel!!! Mmmmm!
The instructions say to dampen your face a little and then apply the mask, which is what I did. It slid over my skin easily and I didn't actually need that much for it to cover my face so I had quite a bit left over. I've resealed the packet with some sellotape so I can use it again!
Within seconds I could feel the mask warming. It didn't get hot, it was just a nice, warm, tingling feeling across my face, which was really nice considering it's getting a bit chilly.
It doesn't harden or anything, just stays nice and light!
It was easy to remove with some warm water and my skin felt so smooth afterwards, I had to refrain from touching it constantly!
The next day, I did notice a couple of little blemishes, but that only means the mask has done its job and brought any underlying dirt to the surface! Other than that, my skin looked like it was glowing and is still feeling soft a couple of days later!
Considering this mask is 99p and I have managed to get at least two uses from the small sachet, I would definitely consider buying the Superdrug Sugar and Spice Self-Heating Mask again!
Have you ever tried any self-heating masks? What did you think?
Which is your favourite from Superdrug's face mask range?
