VitaBella Anti-Ageing Face Mask Review

VitaBella Anti-Ageing Face Mask

Inside my July Birchbox came a unique little product. I've never used anything similar so was quite excited about trying it out! The VitaBella Anti-Ageing face mask came in a cute little bag, with a little bottle of complex and the mask, which kind of looks like an oversized paracetamol!

At first, I had absolutely no idea what it actually was. After reading the little bottle and flicking through the Birchbox magazine and finding the description, I had worked it out and was psyched about seeing what it was like!

Inside the Birchbox Magazine, the description reads;

"VitaBella's Anti-Ageing Face Mask offers a powerful hydration kick that restores and plumps tired and dull skin of all ages. Argan oil and hibiscus seed proteins exfoliate and repair the skin, while wheat germ oil (high in vitamin A, D and E) and hyaluronic acid restore skin elasticity and leave you looking well-rested."

I know what you are thinking!

"Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh!!"

So after being convinced that it sounded amazing, I was desperate to try it out. The Birchbox magazine had instructions on how to make your mask!

So I took the "mask"

...popped it in a bowl in added the complex...

... It then magically expanded...

And folded out into this!

Okay, so this looks pretty scary! But it was pretty amazing!

It was a little big for my face... but I only have a small head!

It kept it on for 10 minutes. It didn't stay very well, but again, I put this down to my small head. It didn't fall off, just needed a bit of sticking back down!

After 10 minutes I pulled off the mask and my skin definitely felt quite fresh, which was lovely in this hot weather!

I did have a little sticky residue on my skin, but once I had moisturised and let my skin breathe for a while, it felt fine, in fact it was glowing!

Looking on the Birchbox shop, it does look pretty pricey.

The box offering 4 uses is £59. I would recommend it as I loved using it, and loved how my skin felt after this, but I think this is quite a high price to pay.

Obviously Birchbox subscribers would have been able to try it out in their July Birchbox, but others who haven't might be reluctant to pay this price.

Have you tried the VitaBella Anti-Ageing face mask? What's your fave face mask for summertime?

  1. Many things can cause skin to become inflamed and the condition varies in severity.
