So, after the disappointment of my June glossybox, I had my fingers crossed for the July box to make up for it. After having a couple of problems with actually getting it delivered (the delivery driver barely gave me 5 seconds to get to the door before getting back in his van – didn’t even leave a ‘we tried to deliver’ slip!), it finally arrived.
First off, I was excited by the box! It’s stunning, very different and summery! Even following through to the matching blue ribbon and the starfish paper inside! Gorgeous! That’s more like a summer theme than last month! I don’t think I’ve ever been so impressed with a Glossybox by just looking at the box!
Inside was actually a nice little array of products. All pretty different, and I have my opinions of each, but I will write more comprehensive reviews across the next week or so, so you can find out a bit more about them!
Pout paints in ‘Minx’ & ‘Mauve over’
I’m pretty interested in trying these out because I like the fact you can mix and match colours together to make brand new colours! The purple alone scares me a little, but we will see how it turns out!
Essie nail stickers in ‘a to zebra’.
When I first pulled these out of the box, I thought they were just black nail stickers, and I did a little sigh. Turn out, on closer inspection, the are actually zebra print! Don’t believe me? Wait for the post with the close ups!
Coola Mineral sunscreen.
Not much to say about this. My initial thought was I was pleased to see another summery product!
Bamboo Style Boho Waves Spray.
This tousled texture mist helps give you beachy waves. I’m wondering how it will work on my sleek, straight hair! Stay tuned!
Anatomicals ‘Spray Misty for Me’ Facial Spritz.
A facial spray or spritz is a must have in this clammy heat, so I was really pleased to see one in my Glossybox!
So actually, in comparison to June’s Glossybox, I am much more impressed with the summery theme, products that I will actually use in the heat! Another thing I like is that I am not overly familiar with any of the brands (except essie of course!) that have arrived in this box, so I’m really looking forward to testing them and seeing what they are like!
What did you get in your Glossybox this month, were you pleased with it? Let me know!
