I’m off on holiday next week, and I’m never a fan of full foundation in the heat, but recently, I’ve been suffering with quite a few breakouts so didn’t want to look too spotty on the beach – not the best look! I went on a search for a decent BB cream that could help make my skin look more even and at least attempt to cover those nasty little blemishes. I decided to go for Maybelline Dream Pure BB cream as it boasted being able to blur imperfections, whilst improving the quality of skin and it contains SPF. Sounded brilliant, and just what I was after.
Testing it out before I went was the safest option, I needed to see that it looked right and did what it said before getting to the beach and being disappointed.
It doesn’t look any different to any other BB cream I have tried before, and the smell is the same as well, so no surprises, but nothing really to report.
When I first applied it, I noticed it wasn’t enough to give me decent enough coverage without concealer or foundation, so I covered up the blemishes and also added a bit of powder on top, just to seal.
So far, not much to report and in my head I was thinking “Well, this is going to be a boring blog post!”
However, after using Maybelline Dream Pure BB cream for a couple of weeks I have noticed that my skin has really cleared up. I’ve been suffering with breakouts on and off for a couple of months and the only product I have changed in my normal routine is the addition of this one! So it really has helped improve the quality of my skin, and although my skin is still not perfect, the BB cream alone is enough to cover and give the illusion of a smooth complexion.
I have used many make up products that have promised to improve the quality of my skin, but this is the only one to date that has actually made a noticeable difference!
The Maybelline Dream Pure BB cream comes in two shades, light and medium and is available for £6.99! Not too shabby!
Now, I don’t have to worry about those little spots while I’m on my holidays, because Maybelline’s Dream Pure BB cream has actually got it covered!
